Genealogy Mailing Lists and Usenet Newsgroups
The newsgroups soc.genealogy.britain and soc.genealogy.ireland which the
GENUKI Web server has been created to support, are just two of a
number of newsgroups devoted to various topics and regions,
worldwide. John Fuller provides descriptive listings of
the much larger set of genealogy mailing lists
that now exist. (GENUKI's listing of UK&I-related
mailing lists is maintained in conjunction with John Fuller's
much more general list.)
Additionally, Stephen Woods provides a listing of
genealogy newsgroups via which one directly access any of the
newsgroups, and can see the FAQ Files
that are provided for a number of them.
