The Old West KirkA Category A Listed church building at the east end of Greenock Esplanade. This building was successor to the original 1591 building which was the first Presbyterian church to be built in Scotland after the Reformation and enabled the people of Greenock to worship locally. Their nearest church was previously at Inverkip, about 5 miles away as the crow flies.
